Tips for Your First Adventure Motorcycle
Trip:
Some of the things we talk about are:
- fuel - especially for people who ride bikes that take premium -
different grades of fuel - when you go to the pumps how do you
handle it in different countries
- currency - do you need to get money in each country - can you
count on using debit or credit?
- distance - how much ground should you plan to cover, should you
plan on distance? What’s comfortable to do? Does it depends what
type of roads you’re driving.
- spares - spare key, spare prescription glasses, spare ?
...and more...
Biker Camaraderie and Experiences of
it - suggested by Graham Field
Discussing the camaraderie between bikers and the difference in
camaraderie from the west to the east according to Graham. Some
anecdotal stories of helping someone or being helped, just because
both are bikers.
Rain Gear - suggested by Roberto
Lara: What waterproof gear option do you prefer: rain suit,
inner waterproof layers, outter layer as part of the riding jacket
+ pants, a plastic poncho or a large (black) garbage bag? ... oh!
Or no waterproof gear at all?
